FirstOnSite Restoration has appointed Beck Wells to the newly created position of vice president of commercial operations.
Wells will work with FirstOnSite’s regional leaders, senior management, and its large loss unit, to lead the company’s ongoing growth and development of its commercial and complex claims operations within Canada, a release said. In his new role, Wells will report to FirstOnSite executive vice president of large loss Billy Short II.
He has more than 20 years of leadership experience in commercial restoration, as well as from an insurer and broker perspective. Wells was most recently associated with Belfor Restoration. He previously oversaw restoration operations in some large markets and even led a national commercial account team.
“Beck has a strong understanding of the risk mitigation and business continuity needs of our commercial customers,” said FirstOnSite Restoration CEO Dave Demos. “His restoration experience combined with his management and operational knowledge bring additional depth to our organization, and experienced leadership to our commercial operations team.”
