CRU Group has hired Blair McGregor to serve as the company’s new associate director of operations.
A company release said McGregor will serve as associate director for both Maltman International and CRU GROUP in Western Canada, and he will be based in Calgary.
McGregor is a multi-line adjuster with a level three license in Alberta. He’s an expert in liability and property claims and has years of experience as a manager and team leader with general insurance companies and independent adjusting organizations.
He most recently served as a supervisor for lawyers’ professional liability claims and as a regional manager with a national adjusting company.
“Blair is a recognized leader in claims management and business development,” said CRU Group senior vice president and head of CRU claims services Jeff Hughes.
“Insurers are seeing erosion in the commitment of major adjusting firms to the provision of dedicated teams focused on developing a core competence essential for effective program claims management,” Hughes added. “They’re looking for alternatives that still believe in that model.”
