Combined Insurance has announced that it has hired Michele Briggs as the company’s new senior vice-president of human resources.
A release said that Briggs will lead a North America HR team that includes corporate and sales recruiting, talent development, training and communications. Her other responsibilities include “executing business strategies that support growth goals and organizational excellence.”
“Michele brings knowledge, broad expertise and positive energy to our organization,” said Combined Insurance president Kevin Goulding. “Her experience in HR generalist and business partner leadership, as well as expertise with compensation, talent acquisition and organization development align well with our culture and business goals.”
Briggs was most recently the vice-president of human resources and organizational effectiveness with AIG – a role she served in for six years. Prior to working with AIG, she worked for AXA Equitable as the vice-president of human resources, and has spent several years in HR leadership roles at Kraft Foods.

Combined Insurance is a Chubb company that provides individual supplemental, accident, disability, health, and life insurance products.
