CHES Financial Services has been granted a license to operate in British Columbia, enabling the firm to operate in three provinces.
The sister company of CHES Special Risk offers its life, health, critical illness, and travel insurance products, as well as employee benefits solutions to brokers in Ontario, Alberta, and now BC.
“Brokers want to secure competitive and flexible terms for their P&C clientele in the life, health, critical illness and travel insurance, and employee benefits markets,” said Gary Hirst, president and CEO of both CHES Special Risk and CHES Financial Services. “Through CHES Financial Services, brokers in BC now have access to a full suite of coverage with the same expert service they have always received at CHES Special Risk.”
CHES Financial Services was established February this year, after CHES Special Risk recognized a demand among P&C brokers for a more “holistic” solution to their customers’ needs.
“There are lost opportunities when brokers don’t offer a full range of coverage,” Hirst commented in a statement. “By offering these products, B.C. brokers will avoid that pitfall and BC consumers can access one-stop shopping for all their insurance needs.”
