Canadian Broker Network (CBN) has named Andrew Kemp, co-president at CapriCMW Insurance Services, as the next chairman of the independent insurance broker network.
The previous CBN chairman, PBL Insurance Limited president Mike Robinson, steps down after a two-year tenure.
“On behalf of the CBN, I’d like to personally thank Mike for his unfailing commitment to CBN and our members. Mike worked tirelessly advancing CBN’s strategic priorities including carrier relationships, technology and business development,” said Kemp.
“Mike’s guidance and direction has kept us on course. We welcome Andrew Kemp as chairman, whose industry experience and depth of knowledge of the marketplace will be of great value to CBN as we continue to grow and execute on our strategy,” commented CBN managing director Lorie Phair.
When Robinson was appointed chairman, he was brought in to replace Tim Miller, president of Capri Insurance Services.
CBN is currently composed of Capri Insurance Services, CMW Insurance Services, Lawrie Insurance Group, McLean Hallmark Insurance Group, PBL Insurance, Rogers Insurance, Smith, Petrie, Carr & Scott Insurance, South Western Group, and Bullfrog Insurance.
