The CAA Club Group of Companies (CCG) has created an annual donation program that will see the company donate to three selected charities over three years.

CCG will donate a total of $900,000 over a three-year period to three charities: SickKids Foundation, Black Youth Helpline and the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. A breakdown of the donations on a company release revealed that the SickKids Foundation will receive $450,000, while the Black Youth Helpline and the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba will each receive $225,000.

"These organizations are doing incredibly impactful work in the community and share our values of being collaborative, care-driven, innovative and leading by example," said CAA Club Group president and CEO jay Woo. "Many of our associates have personal stories about how these organizations have positively impacted their lives, and we are proud to help support that important work."

According to CCG, an associate-led Charity Advisory Committee meets regularly to choose which charities the auto club insurer supports. In addition to the above three charities, CCG said that it will continue to support charities its associates have selected in previous years, such as Bear Clan Patrol, Harvest Manitoba, Winnipeg Humane Society, Canadian Cancer Society and the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OSPCA).

CCG is the parent company of CAA South Central Ontario (SCO), CAA Manitoba, CAA Insurance, Orion Travel Insurance and Echelon Insurance.
