Burns & Wilcox has announced the renewal of its strategic golf sponsorship with Webb Simpson, five-time PGA victor and winner of the 2018 Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass.

“Webb Simpson has held himself to the highest of standards, on and off the course, and his work ethic and success continues to amaze and inspire our team – the true champions of our business,” said Alan Jay Kaufman, chairman, president and CEO of H.W. Kaufman Group, the parent company of Burns & Wilcox.

This is the second sponsorship extension the company has made with Simpson, who joined Team Burns & Wilcox as its second professional golf brand ambassador in January of 2017. Jimmy Walker, winner of the 2016 PGA Championship, is also a Burns & Wilcox brand ambassador.

The Burns & Wilcox logo will be displayed on Simpson’s shirt and golf bag. Walker will wear the logo on the right side of his golf shirt, and his caddy, Andy Sanders, will wear it on his right sleeve. Simpson’s caddy, Paul Tesori, will wear the logo on his hat.

“It is a pleasure representing Team Burns & Wilcox, and I am grateful for their renewed support,” Simpson said. “Sharing the same passion and dedication, I look forward to continuing our partnership throughout the upcoming season.”

In May, Simpson and Walker ended the Players Championship with a 1-2 finish, a first for the sponsored players. Following the championship, Burns & Wilcox saw both website visitors and Google search volume increase by more than eight times.
