Canadian mega brokerage BrokerLink has added yet another firm to its fast-growing network. On February 01, Alberta-based Bridge Financial Insurance Ltd. (Bridge) became the latest to join the property and casualty brokerage, following fast in the footsteps of Challenge Insurance Group Inc, another Alberta broker that joined BrokerLink in January.
Bridge was set up in 2012 in Edmonton. It grew through acquisitions and now has offices in Edmonton, Bonnyville and Cold Lake. Bridge offers a comprehensive suite of personal and commercial insurance products.
“Our priority has always been our customers and our employees. By joining BrokerLink, we know our customers will be treated well and have the right options to meet their needs and our employees will benefit from all that BrokerLink has to offer,” said Doug Rae, president of Bridge.
As part of BrokerLink, Rae will take a consultancy role to ensure Bridge’s smooth transition to BrokerLink. That shouldn’t be too challenging, according to BrokerLink president Joe D’Annunzio, who has described Bridge as a “natural fit.” He said BrokerLink will enhance Bridge’s suite of options with several new insurance providers that BrokerLink currently offers.
“We admire Bridge’s strong community ties in the areas they serve, and we believe this will serve us well as we transition Bridge to BrokerLink,” D’Annunzio added.
