“We didn’t want to wait for an acquisition to happen.”
Those were the words of BrokerLink’s Danny Da Costa (pictured) ahead of this morning’s ribbon-cutting ceremony to officially launch the brokerage’s first location in Kingston, Ontario.
Located at 202 Princess Street, the new branch will be open to the public when it is unveiled with the help of Mayor Bryan Paterson at 10:30am. Customers and Kingston residents are invited to join the celebration.
Lifting the lid on the expansion in southeastern Ontario, Da Costa said: “Kingston is the centre of a geographic area where we see tremendous opportunity, and we’ve had our eye on it for some time.”
Da Costa, vice president for Ontario and digital distribution at BrokerLink, further emphasized the benefits of the new branch for local customers, saying: “Our existing customers in Kingston now have local options available, so they can contact us by phone, visit us online, or drop by in person.
“This expansion allows us to extend our services to a wider audience, fostering deeper connections within the community.”
One of the biggest property and casualty insurance brokerages in Canada, the Intact Financial Corporation subsidiary has a network of more than 200 branches and 3,700 employees nationwide.
