BrokerLink has revealed that the Fort Brie-based brokerage Speaker & Piuni Limited has joined its network.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
According to a release, Speaker & Piuni chose to join BrokerLink’s brokerage network due to the latter’s community-oriented approach; BrokerLink serves its customers via local offices which closely support the communities they are in.
“Our success is tied to 58 years of support from our customers and the community. This is why giving back and treating customers like family has always been number one,” said Speaker & Piuni president Lori Wiegand. “Deciding to sell our business wasn’t easy. When we heard about BrokerLink’s approach, things ‘clicked’ for us. We’re confident our customers and the community will stay front and centre.”

In July, BrokerLink acquired three other brokerages in Ontario – Adriatic Insurance Brokers, Magermans & Raes Insurance Brokers, and Insurance Protection Group.
