BrokerLink has announced the completion of four acquisitions in Ontario and Alberta. The new additions include Ontario Wide Insurance Solutions Inc., Donnell Financial Services, Shuman Insurance Ltd., and Assurances Robichaud Insurance.
Ontario Wide Insurance, based in Ontario, is a provider of home, auto, and business insurance and has been in operation since 2009. In addition to standard offerings, it specializes in solutions for trucking, cargo, professional liability, and niche properties. The brokerage is also known for its community involvement, supporting local initiatives such as Halton Women’s Place.
Assurances Robichaud Insurance, located in Kapuskasing, Ontario, has been serving the northern Ontario region since 1937. The brokerage was described as having built a reputation in the municipal and forestry insurance sectors and is a key supporter of local events and charities, including minor hockey teams and snowmobile clubs.
The acquisition of Donnell Financial Services in Burlington, Ontario, meanwhile, is expected to enhance BrokerLink’s ability to provide employee benefits solutions.
Finally, Shuman Insurance, a family-owned business for over 90 years, is based in Camrose, Alberta. It was described as having built lasting relationships with clients and is actively involved in local charitable endeavours and scholarship programs.
This year’s acquisitions are part of BrokerLink’s expansion plans, including its recent entry into Manitoba and Saskatchewan. The company has made strides in strengthening its presence in local communities, supporting job creation, and fostering long-term relationships with employees and customers.
