There’s no rest for BrokerLink when it comes to acquisitions. Just weeks after purchasing Towerhill Insurance Brokers, the property and casualty brokerage giant has now welcomed Burrows Insurance Group, Inc. into its family.
Burrows Insurance Group is located in Peterborough and Oshawa, Ontario. The deal will expand BrokerLink’s footprint in Southern Ontario and will give the firm a chance to connect more with local communities.
BrokerLink president Joe D’Annunzio commented: “When we grow within a region, we think about how we’ll give back to the local community, understand the customer’s needs, and we’ll also work with the brokerage joining us to understand how they operate.

Burrows Insurance Group president Bill Burrows said BrokerLink’s reputation helped him make the decision to join. Established in 1991, BrokerLink has grown into one of the largest property and casualty insurance brokerage operations in Canada, with over 135 offices and 1,800 employees across Ontario, Alberta and Atlantic Canada.
“We’ve worked hard to build a positive reputation with our customers and the Oshawa and Peterborough communities,” said Burrows. “It was important to become part of an organization that would keep this reputation alive.
