BrokerLink, one of Canada’s largest property and casualty insurance brokerages, just grew once again with the acquisition of Thomson Schindle Green Insurance & Financial Services Ltd. (TSG), based in Alberta.
TSG is a personal and commercial lines brokerage that was established in 1985. It now has branches in Medicine Hat, Calgary, Brooks, Bassano and Edmonton. The firm is known for its tailored insurance program dedicated to owners of custom, exotic or antique vehicles, called Legends Collector Vehicle Insurance.
TSG vice president, Stuart Green, said he was “looking forward to expanding the Legends program with BrokerLink” and that TSG is excited about joining a growing brokerage.
His excitement was mirrored by TSG president, Ken Shindle, who said: “TSG’s success was built on an unwavering dedication to outstanding customer service. By joining BrokerLink, we know that our customers will continue to enjoy an exceptional customer experience and our employees will benefit from all that BrokerLink has to offer.”
Both Shindle, Green and TSG’s group of insurance professionals will continue to serve customers as part of the BrokerLink team.

The transaction became effective May 01, 2019, and terms of the deal were not disclosed.
