Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has promoted Andrew Knight to the role of senior vice president, head of executive & professional lines in Canada.
Knight was most recently serving as national director for financial institutions business in Canada. Before joining BHSI in 2016, he served as director & FPC national practice leader for Chubb’s department of financial institutions – a role he held for over 11 years.
“Andrew has done an outstanding job building our executive & professional lines portfolio and expanding our relationships with customers and brokers throughout Canada,” said Anthony Tatulli, BHSI head of executive & professional lines in North America. “In his new role as head of executive & professional lines in Canada, he will have an even broader impact in bringing our consistent, customized executive & professional lines capacity to the marketplace.”
This is the latest in a series of such appointments for BHSI which, in March, appointed Keith Freid as product line officer for private & non-profit management liability insurance in North America. During the same month, Anthony Tatulli was also named head of executive & professional lines for North America.
