BFL Canada has opened its new premises in Thunder Bay, Ontario, marking the company’s 27th location nationwide.
The development is part of a deliberate strategy to bolster BFL Canada’s operations within Ontario—the new site is the broker’s sixth office in the province—and broaden its national reach while emphasizing local client service.
The Thunder Bay branch (pictured) at 715 Hewitson Street will operate under the leadership of Cosmo Racano, managing partner for Manitoba and Northern Ontario. The team is set to enhance local services while leveraging BFL Canada’s distinguished national expertise.
The business, which has been trading for more than 37 years, noted in its announcement: “Northwestern Ontario includes a wide range of industries and active communities.
“Thanks to our team of professionals that brings diversified expertise and experience, the company will be a key partner in insurance and risk management solutions for local businesses in numerous industries, such as construction, forestry, mining, and municipalities.”
Racano, meanwhile, highlighted the significance of the expansion, stating: “To support our continued growth in Thunder Bay and the surrounding area, we felt that it was time for BFL Canada to establish a physical presence in the region, allowing for daily collaboration and maintaining a strong corporate culture.”
In addition to Thunder Bay, BFL Canada’s offices are in Amherst, Brossard, Calgary, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, Halifax, Hamilton, Kamloops, Kelowna, Langley, Laval, London, Montreal, Ottawa, Prince George, Quebec, Red Deer, Salmon Arm, Saskatoon, Toronto, Tracadie-Sheila, Vancouver, Waterloo, and Winnipeg.
