Last year’s winner of the Burns & Wilcox Award for Big Brokerage of the Year was Archway Insurance, and Gina McFetridge, president of Archway spoke to Insurance Business about what the award meant to her and the team.
“It was a particularly challenging year and to be recognized on the national stage gave our team an incredible sense of pride,” said McFetridge. After dealing with internal changes, struggles of a hard market and the pandemic, McFetridge said the award “couldn’t have come at a better time.”
“We’re very mindful of wanting to continue to earn that place year after year, for our employees and clients,” she said. “The recognition that comes with an award like this helps build our reputation and brand recognition across the country.”
McFetridge explained that “whether or not you feel like it matters to you personally, it will mean a lot to your team, and I encourage people to participate and enjoy the results of being a part of an award-winning team.”
This year’s finalists will be announced in Insurance Business Canada magazine and its online channels in August. Winners will be revealed during the awards show on November 18, along with being profiled in Insurance Business Canada.
