Archway Insurance has increased its presence in New Brunswick with the acquisition of Groom Insurance Limited.
A release noted that through the “partnership” with Groom Insurance, Archway gains two additional locations in southwestern NB in St. George and St. Andrews. The agreement came into effect January 01, 2020. Archway Insurance’s locations in Atlantic Canada are now up to 32, with about 75,000 clients and $150 million in premium volume.
The new locations will allow Archway to offer face-to-face service to more clients in the region. Archway also said that thanks to the partnership, Groom’s clients will benefit from more commercial insurance options, with added life, travel, and employee benefits products.
Employees in both of Groom’s locations will remain under the continued management of Kevin Groom, a release said. Groom founder Gary Groom will also continue his role of managing the team’s key accounts.
