Aon has entered into a strategic partnership with Jaguar Land Rover Canada to provide the auto company’s customers with brand-specific insurance coverage.
Through the partnership, Jaguar Land Rover Canada will have privileged access to insurance policies brokered by Aon Reed Stenhouse.
“The partnership offers a way to personalize the buying process even further,” said Aon senior vice-president and Affinity national director of personal lines Caroline Mills-White. “We’re integrating the insurance component into the brand experience, and we’re able to do so with a partner who believes in providing the highest level of standards, just like us.”
The branded “Jaguar Insurance” and “Land Rover Insurance” by Aon officially launched across Canada earlier this week. Coverage is offered to all types, including vehicles for daily commuters, collector editions, and antique models.
Mills-White says the partnership was formed in order to streamline the claims process.
“We’re introducing insurance right into the vehicle buying process at retail locations – and, it doesn’t end here,” she explained. “Aon will continue to innovate and bring new ways of delivering brand-centric insurance coverage options online and through mobile. We want the process to be as seamless and easy as possible.”
Rob Whisson, director of customer service in Canada for Jaguar Land Rover North America, revealed in a company release that the auto company is looking to expand this partnership to a global market – starting with Canada.
“We’ve taken a hard look at our business in an effort to improve our performance and transform our technology offering. We’re providing more choice,” Whisson remarked. “Our plan to lay foundations for long-term growth also starts with finding a Canadian partner who is aligned with our vision.”
