Aon has named Simon Tardif as senior vice president and leader of the eastern division of the national aviation team.
Tardif has held various positions in the insurance industry over the past 15 years. According to the Aon announcement, he has “a solid understanding of the risks faced by Canadian organizations,” as well as the solutions provided by Aon’s partner insurers.
“As an established leader and strategic advisor, Simon will assist in delivering the firm’s commitment to clients,” said Aon EVP national, global specialties Douglas A. Correa.
Correa also said that Tardif will help push Aon’s growth objectives and unique client value proposition forward.

In October, Aon had appointed a new chief people officer, Lisa Stevens. According to the company, the appointment is part of an ongoing series of actions aimed at further strengthening the company’s alignment and accelerating momentum in bringing its Aon United growth strategy closer to clients.
