Allstate Insurance Company of Canada has been awarded for its outstanding workplace wellness culture.
The insurer was one of five organizations recognized by the GoodLife Fitness Health & Wellness Leadership Awards for its workforce-centered wellness programs. The other four winners were MOBIA Technology Innovations, Isaac Operations, The Regional Municipality of York and Flight Centre Travel Group.
This year, Allstate won the Gold Award, marking the insurer’s third straight year of being recognized by GoodLife. The company employs over 2,600 agents and employees across Canada, delivering to them a “comprehensive workplace wellness program that addresses health and lifestyle practices, physical environment and occupational health and safety and workplace culture,” a release from Goodlife Fitness said.

Brazier explained that all the winning organizations – Allstate included – implemented “employee-driven programs that reached team members with the right information in a format that works best for them.” According to her, it is these types of programs – the ones that promote physical and mental wellness, inclusive working conditions, and financial awareness – that can change lives for the better.
