Allianz Global Assistance has been tapped to provide travel insurance to Porter Airlines clients as part of a new deal with the regional air carrier.
The partnership allows the airline’s customers to purchase three types of policies, namely trip cancellation insurance, emergency travel medical insurance, and all-inclusive insurance. Clients can also access Allianz’s emergency assistance, claims expertise, and inquiry support through their pre-trip planning.
The new travel insurance plans can be included in flight bookings or Porter Escape vacation packages and can be purchased through Allianz’s customer service centres or Porter Airlines’s website.
“We’re giving Porter customers more insurance options, so they can feel comfortable and prepared for their unique travel needs,” said Kevin Jackson, executive vice president and chief commercial officer of Porter Airlines. “Porter and Allianz are prepared to provide quality customer support for those looking to add these policies to their purchases.”
