The Niagara Regional Police encountered quite the unusual situation on Monday morning when they pulled over a green 2000 Dodge Caravan without windows, doors or a license plate, reports the CBC.

The 66 year-old driver “immediately admitted” that he was traveling as a suspended driver with no auto insurance.

The van did feature a triangular neon sign that warned “slow moving vehicle” on its tailgate.  Wooden furniture protruded from the vehicle, and a wooden stool was tied to the rooftop with rope.

Police were able to spot the vehicle on Queenston Street in Saint Catharines as they were monitoring traffic at a routine distracted driving stop. Further questioning by officers revealed that the man had been pulled over in the same “ramshackle” vehicle two weeks earlier in Fort Erie, Ontario.

The motorist will be charged with violating seven provisions of the Highway Traffic Act, including driving while under suspension, operating a vehicle without insurance or plates, operating an unsafe vehicle, wrongful use of a slow moving vehicle sign and failing to apply for a permit, according to the CBC.
