At their AGM in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the Canadian Association of Insurance Women voted in Lori Penner, CIP, as the 2018/2019 President, proudly representing her local Association, the Insurance Women’s Association of Western Manitoba.
Lori is employed with the Portage Mutual Insurance Company at their Head Office in Portage La Prairie, Manitoba and is currently a Business Development Specialist – Farm Lines. She has been in the insurance industry since 1991.
Lori has been an active member of the Insurance Women’s Association of Western Manitoba since 2001 and has served on the Canadian Association of Insurance Women Board of Directors since 2012.
Lori has been on the board of the Portage Ladies Curling Club and enjoys playing rec volleyball.
Formed in 1966, CAIW is a national association of insurance professionals. CAIW focuses on education, networking, and personal development of individuals affiliated with the insurance industry, both directly and indirectly. CAIW provides insurance professionals with a forum to showcase their dedication to the consumer and the industry through programmes such as the Insurance Information Campaign.
