Jennifer Borges
Gore Mutual Insurance Company

Jennifer Borges started her insurance career at Gore Mutual, joining almost 18 years ago as a summer student in the commercial lines department, and has steadily progressed into more senior roles within the department over the years. She is currently the Commercial Auto Manager, leading a team of underwriters responsible for the profitable growth of Gore Mutual’s fleet, garage and individually rated commercial auto business. 

Over the past year, Jennifer has played a key role in the development and implementation of efficiencies and the strengthening of service levels within the department, while continuing to grow Gore Mutual’s commercial auto business. Jennifer successfully supported her team through a number of changes, at the same time leading them to a tremendous premium growth in 2020 and into 2021.  

Jennifer believes in coaching and mentoring as a key driver of her success. Being a recipient of great mentorship through out her career, she enjoys mentoring others to help them achieve their goals. 

Jennifer has a strong technical background and has her CIP and CRM designations. She is expanding her people management skills with courses to help her continue to grow as a leader and prepare her for the next phase in her insurance career.
