Cam Mitchell

Cam Mitchell has been with Gore Mutual for just over 8 years. After entering the industry as broker, Cam joined Gore Mutual and worked in various Personal and Commercial Underwriting roles before joining the company’s Business Development team in 2019. 

As a Business Development Manager, he quickly made a strong impact, helping drive several key distribution deals and built multi-million-dollar programs in British Columbia and Alberta that have helped Gore Mutual reach their strategic growth objectives. 

Within the first 18 months in his role, Cam was named as a finalist for Business Development Manager of the Year at the 2020 Insurance Business Canada Awards. 

Cam received his CIP designation in 2016, winning the Gold Medal Leonard J. DeVito award for top graduate in BC, and continues to work to build his leadership, presentation, and strategic planning skills through different education platforms. He volunteers his time with the Insurance Institute of BC as Chair of the Seminars Committee. Cam is focused on continuous learning and skill development and strives to become a strategic leader within the insurance industry.
