Rob Barros
Leibel Insurance Group

Rob began his insurance career in 2001. Having spent over 10 years in claims, he’s seen firsthand how insurance is there in someone’s time of need.  After a successful claims career, Rob transitioned to managing and coaching brokers on how to maximize selling and servicing insurance products.  

With this unique perspective of having seen both sides of insurance Rob joined Leibel Insurance Group in 2016 helping with the expansion into Calgary. It has become Rob’s mission to help educate customers on how insurance works, both with and for them. 

As a strong leader, Rob inspires the will to win. Having built cohesive and engaged teams, Rob takes pride in watching his team grow and succeed through coaching and mentorship. Under his guidance, he has led a number of teams to several award-winning successes including multiple “Brokerage of the Year” & “Top Insurance Workplace” accolades. Rob was also the 2021 recipient of The CBN Excellence in Innovation Leadership Award. 

When away from the office, Rob enjoys spending time with his family or can be found pursuing his new found passion of fitness either in the gym or on the golf course.
