Zurich Insurance Malaysia and its sister company
Zurich Takaful Malaysia has opened a new office facility at Setia SPICE Convention Centre in Penang. The facility will serve as a one-stop shop for consumers looking to meet their insurance needs.
Offering life and general insurance, as well as their Islamic counterparts family and general takaful, the office will cover almost 1,500 square metres and will have a spacious customer area on the ground floor and office space on the mezzanine floor. Several meeting rooms are available where customers can meet with agents.
According to ZIMB life insurance general manager Mukesh Dhawan said the company arrived at the decision to relocate from its original location in Jalan Argyll, George Town, as they wanted a better location in terms of space, location, and parking.
“The location is ideal as there are many factories, offices and eateries nearby,” Mukesh said.
“Our main aim is to scale up and strengthen the confidence of our customers and distribution partners,” he added during the office’s opening ceremony.
Mukesh also highlighted that insurance growth in the region had excellent potential in the next few years. He added that the Penang branch is among one of Zurich’s top-five contributors in Malaysia.
