MSIG Asia has appointed Victorio Villar (pictured) as senior vice president and head of technical services, overseeing the underwriting, reinsurance, and claims functions across the Southeast Asian region.
Villar is based in Singapore, and his remit covers 15 MSIG business units located in all 10 ASEAN countries, as well as Hong Kong and Oceania. He has more than four decades of experience in the underwriting of complex property risks and building large portfolios across the Asia-Pacific and MENA regions. Villar joined MSIG after more than 25 years at Allianz Global Corporate and Specialty, where he was most recently regional property head, Asia.
