Under the program, financial consultants from Manulife Singapore and Manulife Financial Advisers that have met the criteria will be provided with differentiated and dedicated resources and tools. The program will also expand to other markets across Asia this year.
Manulife Pro features resources such as underwriting support for increased efficiency as well as enhanced customer engagement services with access to prospect leads. The program comes in three tiers – Gold, Diamond, and Platinum – that will determine the benefits and business support available to the top consultants. Other benefits include workshops on social media engagement, early access to Manulife Private Client Services to better serve high net worth customers, and priority access to customer engagement events.
Criteria for qualifying to the program includes a tenure of at least 12 months, in addition to meeting standards such as constant membership of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the internationally recognized group for leading insurance consultants. The candidates must also maintain an excellent customer track record and demonstrate high business quality among other requirements. Manulife Pro’s inaugural round has 200 financial consultants for its class.

Last month, the insurer has announced its plans to redomicile its Hong Kong unit back from Bermuda following the scrapping of an estate duty that the city’s government established at the time.
