Aon has made two appointments for its natural resources business in Asia-Pacific, with Melissa Shepherdson (pictured above) as head of energy and mining, APAC and Richard Nunny as head of renewable energy, APAC.
Shepherdson is currently head of energy and mining, Asia, and will continue to oversee this portfolio in her new role. She has been with Aon for more than 20 years.
“With the changing landscape of the oil, gas and mining industry driven by environmental, social and governance strategies, as advisors, we need to be at the forefront of developing offerings to support with energy transition amid emerging volatility,” Shepherdson said.
Nunny (pictured directly above) joins Aon from BMS Group, where he was head of power and energy – Australia. This appointment marks Nunny’s return to Aon, having spent more than 10 years with the global brokerage in his previous stint. He also worked for Glenrand MIB and JLT Group in the past.
