XL Catlin has announced the promotion of Angie Strack to senior vice president and underwriting manager. She will serve in her new capacity with the global risk management division’s north central regional office.
As an executive for the insurer, she will manage and develop its US risk management business, and customize casualty programs in her region of responsibility.

Strack came on board at XL Catlin in 2011 after nearly two decades of underwriting and broker management experience, 10 years of which she spent with
Zurich.
She is an insurance and management degree holder from Drake University in Iowa.
“Angie’s promotion today affirms our deep talent pool and the professional growth opportunities we have here at XL Catlin,” XL Catlin global risk management president Ken Riegler said in a PRNewswire report.
