Brit announced the recent appointment of Tim Chesson to the position of senior vice president responsible for programs for its
Brit Global Specialty USA (BGSU) affiliate.
In a corporate statement, the firm said that Chesson will focus on writing property and casualty, package and miscellaneous lines for specialized US based agencies. The approach compliments the firm’s London-based MGA capabilities.
Chesson has more than 30 years of experience under his belt. He served with Axis Capital Holdings for 13 years, most recently as president of its US division where he supervised the program business. He also worked with
Zurich Insurance and Combined Specialty Group.
“Tim represents an exciting hire for BGS, and I am delighted to announce his appointment. With extensive expertise and a long pedigree in the program space, he adds a significant new component to our US offering,” noted Brit president for the Americas Nick Davies in the same statement.
