Marsh & McLennan Agency has announced its acquisition of Insurance Partners of Texas, an Abilene-based employee benefits consulting firm.
Insurance Partners of Texas, founded in 2004, offers a range of employee health and benefits-related services to mid-sized employers in the state, according to a Marsh & McLennan news release. The companies employees will join MMA, the release stated.
“We are excited to have the talented and experienced employee-benefits professionals at Insurance Partners of Texas on our team,” said Bill Henry, CEO of MMA’s southwest region.
MMA is Marsh’s middle-market subsidiary. Founded in 2008, it offers commercial property, casualty, personal lines and employee benefits to mid-sized businesses and individuals across the country. in 2015, MMA expanded its footprint into Canada.
