The specialty insurance arm of the Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) Group announced that the firm has appointed a new senior vice president to help with risk assessment and management duties in the power sector.
According to a statement from the company, JLT Specialty USA has appointed Robert Moussaid to head its power sector line to leverage his industry expertise culled over more than 20 years.
The new executive will be based in Dallas.
“Robert’s experience in the power and utility industry will prove to be invaluable to our clients and our team,” JLT chief executive Mike Rice said.
Moussaid honed his power sector skills in Energy Future Holdings, while he built up credentials in the industry mutuals field serving with Aegis,
FM Global NEIL, and EMANI. His skills set also covers management of global liability and property, executive liability, builders risk and captive programs.
He has a Finance degree from John Carroll University.
