First impressions last, so
Farmers Insurance agents around the Miami Valley area have helped Ohio military veterans at their job interviews by passing on suits to them.
Agents from the insurance firm handed over more than 500 suits to the non-profit “Clothes That Work,” which helps beneficiaries land jobs by helping them secure presentable interview clothes from donors.
“They have obviously partnered together to take care of people that need something like this and don’t have the opportunity to do it on their own,” retired soldier James Holliman said in a Fox 45 report, “so I appreciate that very much.”
The suits that were not used by the veterans will go back to the charity to be handed over to other members of the community.
Farmers Insurance agents told the local media outlet they hope to make the suit donation an annual event.
