The Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois has announced the appointment of Cindy K. Jackman as chairman of the board.
Jackman is an Insurance Business America Elite Women of Insurance awardee. She is affiliated with Consolidated Insurance Agency of Carbondale.

As board chair, Jackman will provide leadership for the board of directors and will be the official delegate of the association at state and national functions, according to a report by the Southern Business Journal.
The new chair earned her insurance producer property and & casualty license in 1986 and received her ACSR/CISR designation in 1988. She made Certified Insurance Counsellor in 1992.
