executive vice president of E&S casualty
Janet Jordan-Foster has been serving as executive vice president AXIS E&S casualty unit since 2007. In this role, the New York City-based AXIS leader has management responsibility for E&S casualty underwriters in Alpharetta, Ga., Chicago, Los Angeles, and New York City, who work with AXIS-appointed wholesale brokers nationwide. She also serves as chair of the National African-American Insurance Association (NAAIA). Jordan-Foster has more than 35 years of industry experience, most recently as executive vice president of the healthcare and railroad units within Zurich North America’s specialties business division. Prior to that, she managed Zurich’s Special casualty unit for 11 years, focusing on primary surplus lines casualty business. She also held casualty management and underwriting positions at The Home Insurance Company, PFI Inc., and American International Group.
