North has more than 35 years of experience in risk management services and is a respected author, a dynamic speaker and a strong advocate for the claims industry. In 2016, EY honored him with its Entrepreneur of the Year Award for the Southeast US region. North was also appointed by Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam to serve on the University of Memphis’ newly chartered board of trustees. He previously served on the university’s board of visitors and concurrently serves on the University of Memphis Foundation board and the president’s innovation board.
