The insurance industry, at its core, is about people – a fact that has never been more apparent than this year, in the middle of a global pandemic that has tested every area of the industry. The 26 insurance professionals who make up IBA’s fourth annual Hall of Fame have tirelessly given their time and expertise to the industry for more than 35 years; along the way, they’ve improved the lives of countless insureds and have leveled the playing field for the colleagues who came after them.This year’s inductees were selected by a panel of seven industry experts (several of whom are Hall of Fame members themselves), who looked at each nominee’s contribution to the industry overall. This year, the judging panel also considered each person’s efforts toward furthering diversity and inclusion – an important area of consideration in the industry today.
