With over 15 years of experience in the real estate, construction and financial services industries specializing in risk management, Courtney Osborne is the vice president of insurance and risk management for the El Ad Group, a real estate investment, asset management and development firm. Osborne provides leadership, direction and creative solutions to risk management challenges arising from the multi-billion dollar real estate portfolio and assets under development.
Prior to joining El Ad, she ran risk management for Starwood Capital Group, a private equity firm focused on real estate and hospitality, and oversaw billions of dollars in real estate acquisitions in addition to a global real estate and hospitality portfolio. Previously, she was an account executive in the real estate practice at Arthur J. Gallagher and held a national business development role at Crawford & Company, working with real estate firms to streamline their operations through the claims management process.
As an active member of many professional organizations, she is currently serving on the board of directors of RIMS New York and New York City Association of Insurance Women (NYCAIW).
