One of Canada’s top employee benefit and risk management insurers has found its new CEO amid the ranks of
Marsh Canada’s mining practice.
Willis North America, a unit of Willis Group Holdings announced this week that it has appointed Brian Parsons national partner and chief executive of Willis Canada.

Parsons joins from Marsh Canada, where he spent 22 years, most recently as national practice leader for the company's mining practice.
Parsons will be responsible for the strategic direction of Willis North America’s Canadian operations, focusing on business development and expanding Willis’ footprint in the marketplace. He will also work closely with Willis’ Global Industries and product leaders, including Natural Resources, to deliver the full range of insurance solutions to clients.
