Insurers and MGAs (Managing General Agents) operating in the program market are set to benefit from a new offering launched by risk specialist Guy Carpenter.
The Marsh & McLennan Companies firm has introduced GC Access, which offers services to those operating in the market with support on captives, reinsurance transactions, insurtech experience, and start-up roadmaps. It will also help clients fully optimize program solutions and leans on a network of insurer and reinsurer relationships to precisely match MGAs and carriers.
According to John Trace, CEO of North America at Guy Carpenter, GC Access is supported by a team of program brokers, actuaries and contract specialists and also features many program-specific proprietary tools.
“GC Access truly represents the scale and scope of capabilities and expertise that Guy Carpenter can bring to support this important client segment,” he said. “From world-class analytics and an unrivalled breadth of specialist knowledge through to our unparalleled depth of market relationships, we can offer a fully bespoke range of integrated services that span the full spectrum of MGA program solutions.”
The team is headed by president of GC Access, Michael Jameson who previously led Guy Carpenter’s program division.
“The program market has expanded rapidly in recent years creating huge potential for our clients to grow and capitalize on the significant opportunities that exist in this sector,” Jameson said. “Through GC Access we are able to evaluate new program opportunities and based on a clear understanding of our client’s requirements help them to access and take advantage of them.”
