Jo Kendall has made the switch from Willis Re, where she led the London specialty catastrophe modelling team, to global reinsurance, wholesale, and specialty broker Ed.
Appointed as head of catastrophe & exposure management, Kendall brings 15 years of industry experience which includes time spent at Aon. She will report to group chief actuary Jonathan Tilman.
“Jo brings deep knowledge of cat modelling and exposure management to the team, including expertise in the use of Spatial Key,” said Tilman.
“Her appointment is another significant step in the strengthening of Ed’s actuarial and catastrophe management capability, allowing us to devise more effective risk mitigation strategies for our clients.”
Ed’s managing general agent division operates in the UK, France, Australia, and Germany while its broking business is a leading independent Lloyd’s broker.
