Martin, currently chief financial officer of Allianz Ireland, will join the board of AGCS SE, the legal entity overseeing Allianz Commercial.
In this newly established role, Martin will be responsible for risk management, compliance, underwriting integrity & solutions, and the global capital management segments.
Prior to his new position, Martin spent more than a decade at Allianz in Paris and Munich, holding various finance and strategy leadership roles.

Allianz Commercial has made a number of changes at the top of the organization in recent months. Back in November, it announced a host of changes within AGCS SE, with Shanil Williams moving into the role previously occupied by Tracy Ryan as operations chief for the Americas. Williams was previously chief underwriting officer. At the same time, it was confirmed that Williams would be succeeded by then global head of financial lines and cyber, Vanessa Maxwell. Jarrod Schlesinger then moved into Maxwell’s role, while Jenise Klein became chief underwriting officer for North America. You can find out more about the leadership reshuffle here.
