David McElroy has been chairman and CEO of Arch Insurance since July 2012 and of Arch Worldwide Insurance since September 2012. He is also a member of Arch Capital’s Executive Strategy Committee. McElroy has more than 25 years of experience in financial and specialty lines. He joined Arch in 2009 as president of the financial and professional liability lines, where his role encompassed executive assurance, professional liability, surety and healthcare. Prior to that, he was with The Hartford, following the company’s acquisition of the D&O and E&O business of Reliance National.
