JLT Specialty USA has announced a series of appointments at its aerospace practice in North America.
The brokerage giant currently represents around a third of airlines worldwide and now it is looking to expand its global practice with appointments including Phil Gingell’s elevation to the executive chairman role and Jason Klevens’ promotion as the aerospace practice’s president. In addition, it has announced the arrival of Steve Lloyd and Steve Alexandris as chief executive officer and deputy chief executive officer, respectively.

Lloyd’s appointment will see him relocate from London to Chicago. He joined JLT four years ago and recently served as a partner and a member of JLT Aerospace’s executive committee. He was also an executive managing director, airline practice leader and a member of the aviation and aerospace practice executive and management group at
Marsh before joining JLT, according to a release.
Alexandris meanwhile has more than two decades of aerospace and aviation industry experience under his belt, and has held senior leadership and management roles in both underwriting and broking. He was recently
AIG’s regional executive, aerospace – Americas and a member of the global executive committee. Alexandris will remain in Atlanta.
