Leigh Anne Sherman has been chosen by Chubb to spearhead its private/not-for-profit management liability within the North America Financial Lines division, in which she will have overall responsibility. The company’s retail private/not-for-profit management liability business focuses on the directors & officers (D&O) liability, fiduciary liability, employment practices liability, workplace violence, crime and kidnap & ransom insurance products.

Sherman, the company’s executive vice president, will also continue to offer oversight for the Underwriting Service Branch (USB), which caters for new and renewal underwriting and services for eligible management liability product offerings in the US. She will still report to Scott A. Meyer, division president, North America Financial Lines.

“Leigh Anne has been instrumental in the success and continued growth of the USB, and I’m confident that her exceptional leadership skills and deep knowledge of broker, agent and client priorities will complement Chubb’s strong underwriting team as we continue to build out our offerings to meet the evolving risks and exposures of private and not-for-profit organizations,” Meyer said in an article on PR Newswire. “She represents the remarkably strong leadership team that we have within financial lines, and I’m excited to have the opportunity to work with her in this new capacity.”

Sherman’s career with Chubb commenced two decades ago by leading transformational technology solutions. She clinched progressive leadership posts in numerous offices in the organization, most recently serving as Chubb’s USB head. She also co-chairs Chubb’s Women’s Business Roundtable.
