Vindati, an insurtech MGU that offers specialty products and an integrated shopping experience for brokers and agents, has announced the appointment of John Przedpelski as CEO. He succeeds Vindati co-founder Tyler Van Spanje in the role.

Przedpelski joins from Vindati-backer Innovisk Capital Partners, where he served as executive vice president and global head of distribution and digital partnerships. Serving in various roles at Innovisk since 2016, Przedpelski has been deeply involved in the build-out of Vindati.

“John has been one of Vindati’s key architects from the start,” said David Thomas, CEO of Innovisk Capital Partners. “His knowledge and commitment have long been valuable assets to the business, and I am thrilled that the Vindati team will now benefit from his leadership expertise in a full-time capacity.”

“Three years ago, Vindati was an idea. Today, it is a best-in-class solution for delivering trucking and construction products that truly make transacting business easier for agents and brokers – for example, one data point can get you a bindable quote in our MTC and APD products,” Przedpelski said. “I’m excited to take the lead of this dynamic business at such an exciting point in its trajectory, and I look forward to working with the talented Vindati team to offer agents fast, simple access to a growing range of A+ rated specialty products.”

Before joining Innovisk, Przedpelski served as chief operating officer at US RE, where he was instrumental in developing a telematics and auto insurance joint venture with Toyota Tsusho Corporation. He has also served as COO at Leading Insurance Services, regional executive at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, and managing director at RSA.
