Data analytics provider Verisk has announced the launch of its Sequel product suite in the US. The suite, which is described as one of the leading solutions in the Lloyd’s and London market and the global specialty market, includes the web-based analytical engine Sequel Impact; the workflow-management product Sequel Claims; and the pricing, underwriting and distribution platform Sequel Rulebook. Sequel was acquired by Verisk in 2017.
“We are pleased to bring the Sequel product suite to the US to further enable our specialty market clients to achieve profitable growth and optimize their business strategies,” said Ian Summers, CEO of Sequel. “Sequel solutions are fast to implement, completely flexible, and open to painless data integration from all types of sources.”
Rob Stavrou, chief commercial officer for the USA and APAC, has relocated to the US and will oversee delivery of the product suite. Stavrou has more than 20 years of experience in the global specialty market.
“Our clients are global insurers that need modern, easy-to-use solutions that combine technology, data and analysis to enable them to make better-informed decisions quickly and easily,” Stavrou said. “The power and agility of Verisk’s Sequel product suite combined with Verisk data and analytics provides a unique offering to insurance organizations wanting to grow profitably in an ever-evolving marketplace.”
