Northwestern Mutual has been awarded Celent’s 2019 Model Insurer Award in the “Innovation and Emerging Technologies” category. Celent, a global research and advisory firm, gives the awards annually to recognize best practices for technology critical to the insurance industry.

More than 22 nominees in the Innovation and Emerging Technologies category were judged on their technology’s business benefits, innovation, and excellence in implementation, Northwestern Mutual said.
